This page has pictures of some tools I have questions about.

Right now my questions are about this oddball Disston D8 with a straight back:

D8s were supposed to have skew backs but this one is definitely straight. And the etching is clear so it is very unlikely it isn't a D8. Any info would be appreciated. Email me at mvr1 AT earthlink DOT com. Thanks!
